The food here is always fantastic as is the presentation, but service is alway way too slow. I had their salmon quesadilla off z-harvests specialty menu.

Restaurant Review of Z Harvest Green Bay, WI
By Patricia Summerfield August 11, 2008 Z Harvest Cafe in Green Bay, WI is marked by an eclectic style of décor. On entrance one notices a colorful hand painted mural of a vegetable medley that covers one wall. The light fixture above each booth has a whimsical touch - one fixture is made with dozens of tiny gumdrops. Three dimensional stars and shell chandeliers hang from the ceilings. Toward the back of the restaurant is a small, cheery bar that has a thatched roof with tiny white lights strung up on top and a couple of fake palm trees to the side. The food preparation area is open and the cooks are visible while preparing all the entrées.
Z Harvest has an intriguing gourmet menu with a wide variety of fresh ingredients listed with all the entrées. The server informed me of the day's specials and also explained each ingredient and how it is prepared. After ordering she brought bread sticks with pats of butter. I ordered one of their special salads "Insalta all Zimmani," a combination of mixed spring greens, oven roasted vegetables, brine cured olives, chickpeas, Genoa salami, smoked turkey, Asiago cheese, marinated mushrooms, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomato pesto croutons, and the house dressing for $9.75. I ordered their House fresh squeezed ginger lemonade for $3.25 and to finish off the meal I chose their Bumble Bee pie with a dollop of whip cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for $7.50.
The salad is a definite keeper; it was presented beautifully and arranged pile high. The ingredients were very fresh and nectarous, scrumptiously delicious. The lemonade was refreshing and the pie with its buttery crust and filling of blackberries, raspberries, rhubarb, and apples blended fabulously with the sweet creams, which made for an outstanding meal.
