The Pub at Thornberry Creek at Oneida Description
The Pub at Thornberry Creek offers guests a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, and exceptional meals, any time of year. Whether hosting a holiday gathering or kicking back with friends after an adventurous day on the golf course, The Pub delivers first rate service and exceptional food seldom found in the Green Bay area.
With Green Bay’s only true wood fired pizza oven, our culinary team has developed a menu that offers great variety and value, and keeps our guests coming back. For example, what do you get when you take a culture of cheese fanatics and mix in a sports pub? Thornberry’s own “Wachos”. No, that’s not a typo – we looked at some of the most popular items from around the area and took a giant leap. We start with freshly cooked kettle chips, smother them in a rich beef demi-glace, mix in an aged white cheddar sauce, and top it off with bacon, bratwurst, and green onions.
In addition to the fantastic food, The Pub now features 19 draft beers, with a focus on locally crafted brews. With over 11 Wisconsin Craft beers, it’s easy to see that we listened when our guests told us they wanted more local. Working closely with local brew masters, we’re able to feature beers that are inspired by the unique culture of Green Bay. From Badger State Walloon Witbier to Titletown’s Johnny Blood Red Ale, our eclectic mix of craft beer is sure to please the most discerning palate.
“And what of the vino,” you ask? The Pub features 13 wines by the glass and a bottle list consisting of more than 20 selections. We have the classic staples covered, while also inviting and educating our guests to try some of the industry’s most unconventional varietals. Ever experienced a semi-sparkling Chardonnay? We found a fantastic winery with classic heritage that was willing to step out of the box and try something eccentric and unique. The result is a un-oaked semi sparkling Chardonnay that complements a wide variety of items. Try this and other amazing offerings at The Pub today.

Bar Review of Pine Tree Sports Pub and Grill in Hobart, WI
October 11, 2012
To every season, turn, turn, turn. Yep, that’s right. Fall is here, loud and proud, folks. Tree leaves are golds, oranges and reds, bon fires are toasting up the nights, and the long underwears are being unpacked. (Not gonna lie, I’ve totally worn mine on a few hikes.) A girlfriend and I were in the mood to see some beautiful fall colors, while sipping away on a few cocktails. We ended up at Pine Tree Sports Pub and Grill. Pine Tree is located in the Thornberry Creek Golf Course. And for those of you who don’t know, Thornberry Creek resides in Hobart, just a short drive from Green Bay. Get it, drive? Golf course? Anyone? Moving on.
I knew Pine Tree Sports Pub was a larger sized restaurant and bar, but until walking in, I didn’t realized just how large. Seriously, the place is BIG. The bar part is uber long and there are booths and tables all around. I didn’t see it, but I know they have a banquet hall for wedding receptions and the like. The back of Pine Tree Sports Pub is lined with floor to ceiling picture windows. What a view, man. The fall colors looked amazing. With a view like that, summer would look amazing, winter would look amazing and your mom would look amazing. If looking out the window and daydreaming isn’t your thing, take note of the TV’s hanging above the bar area. Pine Tree has your TV watching covered. There has got to be, like, 30 TVs there. There is also a pool table, darts, a juke box and a Golden Tee machine. I got a kick that Thornberry Creek offers golf outside AND inside.
My gal pal and I got cozied up at the bar and ordered two brandy old-fashioned presses. They’re made from scratch and delicious. Also, because we were there during Happy Hour they were $3.25 apiece. For curious minds, Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday from 3PM – 6PM. You can enjoy $2 single rail mixers, $3.50 house wines, $2 20oz domestic drafts, half off appys and $1 off all other draft beer and cocktails. That covers pretty much every goody one can imagine. As for the draft beer, Pine Tree offers Leinies Honey, Leinies Seasonal, Miller Lite, MGD 64, Fat Tire, Blue Moon, Peroni, Hinterland Stout, Capital Amber and Capital Island Wheat. And in bottles they have even more with Bass, Amstel Light, Becks, Becks Dark, Guinness, Hacker-Pschorr, Spotted Cow, New Castle, Woodchuck, varieties of Mike’s Hard Lemonade. What I thought was cool, was that they have two different Gluten-Free beers, New Grist and Red Bridge and four different N/A’s, Odouls, Odouls Amber, Coors and a St. Pauli’s. Pretty cool. Pine Tree hasn’t forgotten about all you wine and liquor drinkers either. The liquor shelf is fully stacked and the wine list reads like the beer list, several varieties of everything.
Pine Tree Sports Pub made for a fun evening with a laid back atmosphere, super friendly bartenders and really cheap drinks. I will definitely be back, with more friends in tow.
Restaurant Review of Pine Tree Sports Pub and Grill in Hobart, WI

Pine Tree Sports Bar and Grill is located inside the Thornberry Creek golf course. Thornberry Creek is on the Oneida Nation Reservation towards the far West side of Green Bay. It is located in a beautiful elegant building and part of the restaurant features a very large long brick patio which offers a great vista overlooking the woods and part of their well-manicured golf course. The interior of the restaurant has floor to ceiling picture windows on two sides and the walls are all done in a cream colored brick with slate floors and carpeting. In the center is a massive bar with at least 30 flat screened TV's hanging above. It’s all an open concept and you have a choice to dine in one of their cozy booths, a table, sit at the bar or if it is nice out, dine on the fabulous patio.
I noticed they have one of those old fashioned popcorn machines which they keep freshly filled and you may help yourself to a basket, compliments of the restaurant. The background music was upbeat rock and the music also plays outside. Since it was a gorgeous day weather-wise, I chose to have my lunch on the patio. My server promptly came out and brought me a menu with a cloth napkin tightly wrapped around silver ware and asked if I would like to start out with a beverage. My server was accommodating and friendly, she told me the specials for the day along with the soups. I decided to start with an appetizer, for they were half priced that day, so I ordered the shrimp martini for $6.49 (regular price). It consists of 5 large shrimp sautéed in garlic butter and shallots, served in a martini glass with homemade cocktail sauce. For my lunch I ordered the Bacon and Lettuce sandwich for only $6.49 which comes with a choice of French fries, sweet potato fries, kettle chips, cottage cheese or potato salad, I chose the sweet potato fries. My shrimp cocktail was quickly served. The shrimp were still warm with a nice buttery, light garlic flavor with a mild cocktail sauce on the side. After my server cleared my finished appetizer away, I was brought my sandwich and fries. The sandwich was made on a lightly toasted honey wheat bread with apple wood smoked thick bacon, lettuce, mayo, and lettuce. The BLT was very good. The bacon was of good quality, and the sandwich had a nice balance of flavor with the mildly sweet honey bread and the smoky salty bacon. There were more than enough of the sweet potato fries; they were very sweet and lightly fried, but not greasy. Pine Tree also serves dinner, and on the patio for cooler nights have many heaters for your comfort.
