Restaurant Review of Taste of Chicago in Green Bay, WI

I went for lunch at the restaurant, Taste of Chicago, which is located in Ashwaubenon on the border of west Green Bay. The interior of the restaurant contains no booths, but it does have a lot of seating with white wooden tables with blue vinyl seats, and the flooring has red and blue linoleum squares. The walls are painted an orange yellow color with posters of scenery of Chicago and different well known foods of Chicago displayed on the walls. It was clean and also bright inside for there are two walls with very large windows. There also is a flat screen TV hanging high above on one wall tuned to a sports channel and on the other side of the room is where you help yourself to napkins, plastic silverware, and a soda machine. Located in the back of the room is the kitchen and a register where you order and pay for your food right away.
It was early and I was the only customer in at the time, I ordered Taste of Chicago's chicken gyro for $5.89 and a soda for $1.49. After a brief time my gyro was ready and the counter person called to me to tell me my food was ready. Since it was very empty and not busy I think the staff and owner could have been more friendly and given more customer service like maybe carry out my sandwich to me instead of standing and talking to each other or at least shown an interest and ask if everything tasted okay, it would have taken little effort and time. My gyro was served in a paper tray; the pita was medium sized with a good amount of chicken and a very good amount of cucumber sauce with raw onion and one small slice of tomato on top. It was hard to eat the sandwich with just your hands for the meat and sauce out sized the pita bread, and it was a little difficult to cut the sandwich with the small plastic utensils in the small paper container. The flavor of the chicken was very salty but the sauce had a good flavor and was very smooth and creamy.
