Restaurant Review of Taco Burrito in Green Bay, WI

I went to lunch at a newer authentic Mexican restaurant, Taco Burrito Mexican Family Restaurant, which is located on the North side of East Green Bay on Webster Street. The interior is all new and exhibits the most beautiful and colorful wall murals depicting different scenes from Mexico; all were hand painted by the artist Carlos Marquez. The restaurant is immaculate with large picture windows on two sides of the building. There are many comfortable booths and on each of the tables are the condiments: Tapatio hot sauce, Cholula hot sauce, salt and pepper, and extra large napkins. There is one flat screen TV hanging high from the ceilings towards the front by the register and a pretty water fountain to the left side situated by one of the painted murals with lively Mexican tunes playing quietly in the background.
My server came and brought me a menu and asked if I would like to order a beverage, I chose a soda for 80 cents but I did notice they also carry eight different brands of Mexican beers. My soda was cold and brought to me in a can but my server was most willing to bring a glass with ice in it. I ordered Combination #4 which is one Taco, one Tostada, and one Chimichanga with a small side of guacamole for $5.95 you also have a choice of chicken, steak, or pork and I chose chicken. While I was waiting I was brought a basket of tortilla chips with fresh homemade salsa. The salsa was very mild and fresh containing diced onion, cilantro, and crushed tomatoes so if you like it hot just add some of the hot sauce. My food looked very fresh and the tostado shell was very light and crispy with nicely flavored shredded chicken, diced tomatoes, onions, freshly shredded mozzarella, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and a thin layer of refried beans. The taco had the same ingredients, minus the refried beans, but on a warm delicious flavored soft shell.
My Chimichanga was very large with a dollop of sour cream melting on top. There was shredded chicken, refried beans, and lots of melted mozzarella inside and the outer soft shell had a slightly sweet flavor that reminded me of doughnut batter. It was not greasy at all and the ingredients integrated well; it was very pleasurable to consume. The guacamole was homemade and tasted very fresh, a nice accompaniment for my meal. Taco Burrito Mexico is a wonderful addition to the Mexican cuisine in Green Bay, they also offer carry out service.
