Restaurant Review of Pour Daddies in De Pere, WI

I decided on a quick lunch at Pour Daddies, which was formerly known as the Black and Tan. Pour Daddies has new proprietors, and is located on De Pere’s west side just a few short blocks from St. Norbert College. Rock music played in the background and although the interior appears to be mainly the same, the addition of an array of bar signs and arcade games effectively changes the atmosphere from that of the former restaurant. There is a very large bar as you walk in, and on a raised platform behind the bar are tables for dining. The tables have a window view and are surrounded by a railing. The color scheme is black and tan and on the second level they have the area set up with pool tables and other games for your enjoyment.
Pour Daddies has a menu of sandwiches, salads, and soups. The part owner/bartender/waiter was extremely friendly, polite, and very helpful on the different choices on their menu. I decided to order the steak sandwich for $5.75 and a cup of their homemade chili for $2.75. My steak sandwich came on a soft buttered bun and the meat was extremely tender with good flavor. My chili was spicy with a distinct flavor of beer added in the recipe; it was tasty but it was served lukewarm and not hot. Pour Daddies also offer dinners for private parties.
