Bar Review of Pearly Gates Green Bay, WI

The Pearly Gates is a bar and grill with a nice size menu. It is very clean and open with many televisions for your viewing pleasure. My waitress was very bright and cheerful. Since it was Friday, I decided to try the Perch Plate with their own special breading for $11.95. All the fish plates come with your choice of potato (baked, french fries, or potato salad), coleslaw, tartar sauce, and rye bread. My meal came quickly; the perch was hot, but average in size and tasted on the bland side. The coleslaw looked pre-shredded/pre-packed and was served in a small plastic cup and tasted like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for some time, and while the french fries were not greasy they were nothing exceptional. I did read on Pearly Gates menu that all their pizzas are handmade with their own sauce, maybe those would be a better bet.
