Bar Review of Pauly G's in Green Bay, WI

There’s a bar I pass all the time on the East side of Green Bay. And every time I do, I always make a mental note to check it out. Well, those mental notes were piling up when a girlfriend and I were driving by yet again. We were on our way out to dinner and there was Pauly G’s sitting there like it does, with its open sign and cold beer inside. Right then and there I made up my mind, I slammed on the brakes and cranked the steering wheel a hard right, pulled out in front on oncoming traffic, popped the curb and crashed right into Pauly G’s front door. I like to make a grand entrance. (Please note: there was only slightly slamming of the brakes, NO popping curbs and NO busting through Pauly G’s doors. I’ve been watching too many action movies and felt the need to be dramatic. Apologies.)
For those of you who aren’t in the know, Pauly G’s is located in the same area as Copps and Planet Fitness just off Main Street. You can work out, grab food for dins and have a beer all within 300 feet of each other. This bar is in a stand-alone building with a handicapped accessible ramp out in front. You walk in and the bar is right there. There were some folks sitting along those seats so
we sidled up around the other side of the bar. We ordered a vodka soda water with lime and a Rolling Rock. Because we juuuuust made it before 6PM, we were blessed to have the Happy Hour prices. Happy Hour is on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2PM to 6PM. You get $2 rail mixers/$3.50 doubles, $2.50 call mixers/$4 doubles and $2.50 domestic bottles. Jeepers Creepers, that’s a fantastic deal. Our total was $4.50 for 2 bubbly beverages. On draught they have Bud Light, Miller Lite, Bud, Coors Light, Hi Life and MGD. In bottles they carry more of the Miller, Bud and Coors products along with Spotted Cow, Rolling Rock, Guinness and a couple other fan favorites. If you’re not in the mood for beer, then pick and choose something in the liquor department. They have more than enough choices to float your boat.
Taking a look around Pauly G’s you will notice the abundance of things to do. There are more than enough games to keep you and all your friends occupied if you’re not in the mood for gossip hour. They have a pool tables, dart boards, a foosball table, a bean bag game, something that look similar to Golden Tee and other arcade/gambling games. And that’s what’s INSIDE. Outside you can enjoy their patio. Maybe not right this very
moment, but most definitely in a few months. They have picnic tables for you to sit at and they also have horse shoes! Yes! And, of course, if you don’t want to play any games you can always enjoy watching something sporty on their large TVs. Pauly G’s only accepts green backs, so if you find yourself running low on cash, they have an ATM conveniently located inside for you.
