Review:
Having Sun Drop fountain soda earns 1 to 2 stars in my opinion. :) Heard alot about this place and finally tried it recently. It was very unique and never knew much of it even being in De Pere. Its kind of an old time eatery, narrow building, and charming. The food portions were big and reasonable. My italian beef was just okay, it was a little on the dry side but decent. Service was good and friendly. I would go back but didn't quite live up to the hype it had going in.

It has been a while since having these spicy critters (Chicago hot dogs)and I was glad to have not just one but two dogs with relish, pickle slice, tomato and those hot little peppers, with fries for $6.25. I also had some yummy onion rings with a bottle of beer. They also have a large beer selection for your enjoyment. The homemade potato chips were tasty too.

We used to order carryout from here several times a month, but they have gone downhill. I don't know if they're under new management or what, but here's why we decided our last order was...our last. 1) My last 2 orders of ribs were so dry it was like eating jerky. 2) My last 2 orders of cole slaw were spoiled because they don't put a date on them before they load the carryout portions into the fridge. Sure, they gave me a refund on my next visit, but one bite of spoiled cole slaw spoils a meal. 3) The sandwiches are about 2/3 the size they used to be. They were one of my favs back when the editorial review was written. I think you ought to check them out again.

Great food in a cozy, period bar that buzzes with high energy. Sandwiches are huge and very tasty and dinners are sizable and succulent. Great ribs and pastas. Good drinks. Good prices. Please keep it a secret...it's already crowded!
