We love Parisi's Deli! The gourmet sandwiches are served with care, made from real food, and fresh! Real food, and local--Wisconsin cheeses, meats, quirky condiments and fresh vegetables (no doubt from the farmer's market, which is at Parisi's door all summer/late spring/early fall). The vintage ambience from a 1930's deli is a wonderful concept. It's the kind of place that develops a bit of a cult following over time. The Broadway District is the most interesting, diverse, Boho part of Green Bay, and Parisi's/Kavarna's are the heart of the district. We hope the deli selection continues to grow, because it's a special treat to take home and savor the meats and artisan cheeses, all from Wisconsin--and we love it that you can hear about the "provenance" of the cheese you're buying--the history, the cheesemaker's special techniques, etc. We've also developed a taste for the other gourmet deli case items, like really good pickled onions, roasted peppers, gourmet capers, not to mention chocolates and cookies. Such a treat! All we can say is--more where that came from!
