My husband and I visited Ogan Restaurant this past summer and what a treat it was!! The food was MOST delicious and the owner, Ilde, is most gracious and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant. Be sure to sit out on the deck - its quite romantic and very Green Bay! Dave and Lee, Washington, DC

 Couldn't be better, 07-11-2011

This is my first 5 star rating. Besides the wonderful weather, beautiful setting, and delicious food, the owner Ilde was very accommodating to a situation we had. There are no deep fried foods here, which was good for me. I had the scallop dinner, which was wonderfully cooked, the large diver scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned, the vegetables were excellent. My wife had the chicken w/curry sauce which she thoroughly enjoyed. The appetizer and salads were good. The Meringue and Ice Cream desert was the best! I'll definitely be back.

 Always a delicious meal, 09-15-2010

Review:
I have been to OGAN many times since the opening and have yet to be disappointed with my food choices. I will agree that the menu does cause confusion if not explained. The Filet Caprese Salad is amazing and completely filling whereas the skewer plate on the same section of the menu left me wanting more. There is a variety of portion sizes on the small plate/appetizer menu and this was only evident after trying many of the dishes. The signature dishes, specifically the walleye and the filet, were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. I have had both these dishes on repeat occasions and have consistently been impressed. I truly cannot say anything negative about the taste and quality of the food. I would give OGAN 5 stars for the food alone. The service has been less consistent. The menu has yet to be explained to me and my drink has yet to be refilled. The servers lack that friendly smile and that visit back to the table to make sure that everything is ok. If it wasn't for the taste of the food I would find it hard to go back.

Small appetizers but delicious food, 08-27-2010

Review:
I would have to agree with others that said the appetizers are small. They are indeed small and there is barely enough to split between two people. However the appetizers are delicious. I had mixed feelings about my entree. The portion was much larger and cooked well. However I wasn't a fan of the scalloped potatoes served with it. The service was pleasant, but not really to the standard of a fine dining restaurant.

Terrible Service, or lack thereof, 06-22-2010

Review:
My husband and I were at Ogan on Friday 6/18/10 expecting to have dinner. We were seated in a highly visible area of the atrium. We watched as other guests who arrived after us, were seated and served while we sat completely unacknowledged and ignored. We were seated for about twenty minutes without a single member of the Ogan staff filling our water glasses - which remained upside down the entire time - or taking our drink order. Again, we were at a table where waitstaff walked past us regularly. As we walked out, we told the hostess that we were completely ignored and her only response was a look of surprise.
