Restaurant Review of Mr Ginger's in De Pere, WI

I stopped in for a quick lunch at Mr. Ginger which is a Chinese restaurant located in West De Pere. It is a very clean, small, and casual restaurant with tile floors, pine wood wainscoting, and some tables on the right. Above a large counter and register are colorful pictures of some of their main dishes off the menu. When you order you are able to see into the kitchen while they are busily prepping and stir frying all the food orders. You order and pay for your food and if you are eating in they bring out your order to your table for you. For beverages they have a small cooler filled with sodas, water, and fruit juices but no water cooler. I decided on one of their lunch specials The Triple Delight for $5.59 with fried or white rice.
The food was brought out nice and hot on a ceramic plate with a fork. On the tables there was soy sauce and extra napkins. Packets of sweet and sour sauce and hot sweet mustard were out in front by the cooler case. The triple delight consists of slivered pieces of beef and chicken with medium sized shrimp which are all sautéed in a special house sauce mixed in with vegetables of bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, and baby corn. The meat and shrimp were very tender and the vegetables were semi -soft with broccoli being the main vegetable and all together tasted delicious mixed in the light brown sauce that had a salty sweet flavor. Mr. Ginger has a very large menu and offers dinners and appetizers also.
