Bar Review of Kimmers in Green Bay, WI

What a rainy week! Since it was not decent patio weather time, it was time to go back to some hole in the wall sports/dive bars. Oh, how I've missed you so. This time my girlfriend and I checked out Kimmers. It's located on the East side of Green Bay. This is one of those bars that open its door at the crack of dawn, 6AM. One day I'm totally gonna make it for first call. One day. Not this day however.
We strolled in at a more socially acceptable time for throwing back a few drinks. It was dark and surprisingly not too smokey. We took a seat at the bar and ordered a bucket of baby (7 oz) Bud Lights. Six for $6. I think that's their
Happy Hour price. Like most bars that open super early they have two of them. The first HH is from 6AM – 9AM and the second round is from 3PM – 6PM. As well as the bucket of baby beers for $6 you can order a rail drink for $2.75 and a tall rail one for $3.50. I'll have to keep that in mind for my vodka soda days. On tap Kimmers' offer, Woodchuck, Miller Lite, Bud and Bud Select. As usually they have Miller and Bud products in bottles and a full liquor bar. I didn't see any wine, but in places like that don't go for the wine. Go for the cheap beer and liquor drinks!
I know I said we arrived at a socially more acceptable time for drinking, but it was juuuuust a little too early to get a good people watch going. But that's okay; Kimmers has more to offer than just people watching. They have a pool table, dart board and a few arcade games for your enjoyment. My girlfriend and I kept ourselves entertained with something I like to call gossip. The bartender was also super friendly and made small talk with anyone and everyone sitting around the bar. Before we left, the Bartender offered us a piece of candy. Beer AND candy?!? My night was complete. Thanks Kimmers.
Buck Burger Review of Kimmers in Green Bay, WI

Patricia: Kimmer's bar has $1 burgers on Mondays starting at 2pm. For a slice of cheese they charge only 25 cents and 25 cents extra for pickles, tomato slice and lettuce. I ordered my burger with pickles and fried onions. The burger consisted of a small beef patty on a very fresh soft hamburger bun with dill hamburger sliced pickles on the side. The hamburger patty had a very good flavor and was very juicy, the kind of flavor you can only get from a very well seasoned grill. The pickles were very tart and their was a fair amount of fried onions on the burger.
GreenBayNightLife Staff: These were some of the smaller sized burgers we had, but they still beat some of their competitors. Reminiscent of a good old regular McDonald's hamburger. We would eat it again.
