Restaurant Review of Grapevine Cafe in Green Bay, WI

I recently had lunch at the restaurant Grapevine which is connected to the store Homestead Decor, and is located in Bellevue on the far east side of Green Bay. The interior is done in colors of tan, brown, and maroon. It is sophisticatedly decorated in a European style with dark furniture, oil paintings, and silk floral arrangements throughout and most of the items are for purchase. There are two main dining areas, one area flows into a patio style atmosphere, and in the main dining area there are three separate cozy rooms which are set off from the main dining room towards the back, each is decorated in a different theme.
The host immediately seated me and I did not have to wait very long for my server to approach with ice water and asking if I would like a beverage right away. Grapevine has a very large and diverse menu with appetizers, paninis, sandwiches, and salads; I decided on the Seafood Panini sandwich for $9.95 and a cup of hot tea for $1.75. My server was not only friendly and attentive she was also extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and their featured specials of the day. For the tea that I ordered I was shown a selection of different teas encased in a box. My tea was served in a white tea pot with matching cup and saucer with a lemon wedge on the side. My server warned me to be careful for when you pour the hot water from the teapot it can spill so she brought me a paper napkin and suggested that if I take off the cover it would pour more easily. My sandwich was nicely served on a white plate with a good amount of fresh seasoned kettle potato chips and a dill pickle spear. The Panini was large and grilled to a nice golden brown and consisted of tiger shrimp, blue crab meat, red onions, arugula, Roma tomatoes, pepperoncini, and horseradish spread.
The seafood was fragrant with a mild flavor and the sauce had a nice spicy bite to it. The shrimp were fresh tasting and butterflied while the crab was placed in little clumps on the sandwich. Overall the Panini was tasty with the seafood and horseradish sauce predominating in flavor. Grapevine also serves wine and delicious looking Bloody Marys that contain a celery stalk, a beef stick, a mozzarella cheese stick, a lemon wedge, and olives, which I noticed as one diner next to me seemed to be enjoying. Grapevine Café is a cozy spot in Bellevue to go for a relaxed lunch and some conversation.
