Review:
The burger was good but nothing special. I thought it tasted a lot like an A&W burger. the fries were very good. My biggest problem was that i spent $5 for a burger that i could have gotten at any number of other places for no more than half the price charged at 5 Guys. It was a very good burger but nothing made it stand out to me from A&W, Wendys, Culvers, etc.

I tried this place Sunday afternoon. Really excellent bacon cheeseburger. Very fresh and tasty. Bacon crispy and good. I ordered it with barbecue sauce and a few other toppings. I probably should have got the small burger, because the regular was really a lot of food! I enjoyed the fries too. If you like the skinny, frozen style fries from McDonalds or Burger King, then you may not like these fries, because they are more authentic. Apparently they are cut there in the mornings. I guess that's why they have all those potatoes there. These are thick potato fries. We had the regular, but I want to try the spicy next time. It's funny, but I'm old enough to remember that THIS is how hamburgers SHOULD taste. People are so used to junky fast food burgers that when they try this its kind of odd - in a good way. Definitely going back! One thing is I wish they had shakes -- oh well. Overall, we loved it. Going to give it 5 outta 5

Since it has been a few weeks since it's opening, my son and I thought it was a perfect summer sunny Saturday afternoon to check out the new local burger joint in Ashwaubenon. As we entered the restaurant, we found it to be bright and airy.....with a red/white theme that reminded me of soda fountain shops of long ago. It was all a flurry with motion, and was near it's seating capacity. We opted for the "Burger with Everything" which is a fully loaded burger, and a regular fries. While we waited for our order at our table, we enjoyed the free peanuts, which was really nice, but I would imagine would hamper the experience of anyone with a peanut allergy. The food was ready quite quickly, and the burger was indeed large and tasty with it's mountain of toppings. The french fries were a bit of a disappointment, as they were the large wedge type style with the peels still on.....not my favorite type of fries, and they did seem a bit undercooked. We didn't finish them, but focused on the awesome burger instead. The building was clean and well kept, and the kitchen activity is fun to watch. They have some upbeat music that adds fun to the experience as well. The burgers and Coke products are worth the visit to us, we probably will steer clear of the fries upon return visits though.

The grill fried burger was tasteless, the fries under cooked. Nice idea to specialize in burger and home made fries, but I left wanting for a better flavor experience. Next time I'll ask for crispy fries. Although disappointed the 5 Guys are worthy of another chance.
