Restaurant Review of Elegant Moose Green Bay, WI

By Patricia Summerfield
April 15, 2009
Elegant Moose is a restaurant that specializes in crepes. They feature breakfast and lunch crepes with a few salad selections on the menu. The dining room is richly decorated in a contemporary style with espresso colors. It was late morning and not very busy yet, the waitress was very friendly and informed me of the specials of the day and also told me that they were out of duck and crab. I ordered the roasted chicken and broccoli crepe with a curry cheese sauce for $7.00. The crepe was presented on a plain white plate with one piece of parsley for garnish.
Since crepes are their specialty I was a little disappointed, while the crepe in itself was done well, the filling and sauce combination wasn't anything outstanding. The crepe was filled with cut up plain chicken pieces and plain cooked broccoli pieces; the sauce was on the skimpy side and tasted fine, but again nothing to brag about. I noticed the woman next to me had ordered a salad; while it was large in portion, it did not seem to have very much else on it.
