Chylde of Time Description

Chylde of Time is a local metal band that plays a distinct style of Progressive Doom metal. Our biggest influences are Black Sabbath, High on Fire, Mastodon, and Sleep. Our sound is hard to describe. Our songs incorporate all types of metal into one powerhouse of sound. We started out as a Thrash band in 2009, then got more brutal and formed into a Death metal band, then in 2010 we changed our name and started writing more progressive material, without losing our heaviness. Since then we have continued in the progressive style, but also ventured more into Doom metal/Early Sabbath style territory. The best way to figure out our sound is to listen to us.
