Good, Wouldn't Rush Back, 02-27-2012

Maybe I'm used to getting piled with food at other mexican restaurants but I was mildly disappointed from a value standpoint here. I paid $8-$9 for a burrito, and that's what I got...just a burrito and it wasn't a massive one at that. Other plates were smaller portions too. The food was good, no problems there, but not to the point where I'd pay more to have it. It was very packed on this Friday evening so the atmosphere was lively. It can be hard to navigate as its not a huge place. Its also loud with hard floors and tall ceilings. Overall the food and atmosphere were good, but from a value standpoint I was disappointed and would choice other area mexican restaurants.

This joint is mas terrible! The food seems like it is simply reheated or microwaved and they charge extra for sour cream, which I thought was strange. Charging for guac, I get, but sour cream? Really? The service is kinda pathetic too -- at least the server we had. I asked her what was popular/good to eat and she laughed and rolled her eyes. I can certainly tell you whats NOT good here: the tacos or the chimichunga. There are way better Mexican places to go to for awesome food.

Don't go for the food. It is all pre-packaged and merely heated there. And they will charge you handsomely if you say "yes" to sour cream and/or guacamole. The service has ranged from just okay to hostile (funny but true). That said I go here on the regular for margaritas and some chips and salsa. Especially nice in summer when the patio is open. And happy note for parents, they do accommodate the lil amigos.
