Restaurant Review of Beverly Gardens in Denmark, WI

Sunday I went for brunch at Beverly Gardens, located in Denmark, which is 10 miles from the East side of Green Bay. Every Sunday they offer their signature brunch from 9:00am till 1:00pm. The brunch costs $11.00 including milk, fruit juice and coffee. When you first enter there is a hallway with a coat rack which then leads into a large bar with many tables and some arcade game machines. It was busy so I put my name in with the hostess she said it would be 10 to 15 minutes and she would come to get me from the bar area.
My wait was 10 minutes. The hostess told me that my table was ready and my table number is 10. The dining room is a very casual, large, open room with many large rectangle and round tables. This room is also used for banquets and weddings. On each table was a tall table holder with large printed black numbers on plastic cards. The tables were all preset with white paper placemats, silverware and napkins, accompanied by condiments of ketchup, salt and pepper shakers, creamers, and sugar packets. The restaurant was clean. The walls were painted in olive green and the carpet was dark green with a floral design. To the right of the room is where the buffet was set up. You get in line, take a plate and proceed to serve yourself. The buffet consisted of scrambled eggs, cheese sauce, ham, bacon, sausage links, waffles, pancakes, hot syrup, eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, broasted chicken, steamed cod, hot vegetables, tenderloin beef tips with mushrooms, American fries, mashed potatoes, assorted fresh fruit and assorted baked from scratch pastries. Right next to the buffet is a separate table filled with extra napkins and silverware.
While I was eating I noticed there are servers who walk around with carts containing plastic glasses of ice water, thermoses of coffee, fruit juice and cartons of white or chocolate milk. The waitress, as well as the hostess is very friendly, all with large smiles and a helpful attitude. All the food is home-style cooking and made from scratch. Every entrée I sampled was delicious. The broasted chicken was very juicy and well-seasoned. The tenderloin tips with fresh mushrooms in a gravy sauce was extremely tender and flavorful, the bacon and sausage was cooked well, nice and browned, and of good quality. The American fries were sliced thin and tasted like homemade potato chips. The fruit and pastries were very fresh, the eggs Benedict were good; all the eggs were made hard and not over easy. The room was crowded with many families and I saw there were a few separate little celebrations going on: a birthday, and a baby shower. The atmosphere was a happy one. Beverly Gardens is located in the country and have ample parking in the front and back of the restaurant.
