One of the better perch plates that I have had in the area. I think it was priced in the $10-$15 range. The bar was pretty full and is a decent sized, there is extended dining areas. If we weren't on the opposite side of GB we'd probably come here alot more often. Highly recommend trying on a Friday night at least. It is kind of out of the way if not in the Suamico area.

The family decided to take a ride out to Suamico to Wouter's for their rumored great broasted chicken Sunday evening. Located in a rural area, it is a small yet quaint tavern. The staff was friendly and attentive, the drinks good while we waited for our table. We opted for the "Family Style" broasted chicken dinner for all of us. The salad bar was nice. I can honestly, honestly say.....the broasted chicken was the BEST I have ever eaten. It was broasted to perfection with a light crispy coating that was addicting. The dressing and coleslaw and 2 types of potatoes were equally outstanding. I ate until I couldn't possibly try another bite, and then gloriously ambled back to the bar for an after dinner drink. The only down side I could possibly mention was that in the bar area there still is smoking allowed, but it didn't seem to reach into the restaurant dining area. It certainly was not a big enough annoyance to prevent me from going back to enjoy some more broasted chicken ! I can see why they have won many awards for their meals.

TWO COUPLES HAD THEIR PERCH FRY ON 5/23/2008. THE PERCH WAS THE BEST i HAVE EVER EATEN. tHE FRENCH FRIES WERE OUTSTANDING. OUR WAITRESS WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE.. HOW CAN YHOU BEAT ALL THIS FOR ONLY $9.95.
