Standing Stone/ Oneida Casino, 01-18-2011

Looking for a place to treat our employees for All-You-Can-Eat....in a bit of an upscale surroundings.....we decided to give Standing Stone a try. It is located across the hallway from the Oneida Casino gaming room. It indeed has a very nice decor.....a contemporary style, not stuffy, but classy. We were given a separated area from the other diners (called to make reservations for that section ahead of time). We had ages ranging from 12 to 67....and EVERYONE enjoyed the dinner. It has a wide variety of American, German, Latino, and Asian food....and was even more fun when you can sample a bit of each ! The dessert island was out of this world delicious, with very tasty and artistic selections. The steak, chicken, shrimp, pork and seafood was very good. We had a friendly waitstaff, and the serving chefs made the occasion fun as well. For Saturday nights, the price is $19.99 per person, although I see during the weekdays it is only $ 10.00 per person. We arrived upon opening at 5pm, so there was no wait, and all the food was ready to go.......with nice presentation and flavors. It was a nice place to take a company staff, and we certainly will return again for family dinners as well. If you don't mind having to leave your seat to refill your plate......(again and again!!) this is a great location to do so !!
