For breakfast I went to Sister's Cafe which is located in Bellevue on Green Bay's East side. It is a large and very bright restaurant with huge picture windows in all of their three dining areas. I also could not help but notice that everything was pristine. As you walk in the register and a large counter for dining are right in front with booths to the left with more booths and tables going toward the back of the restaurant. The restaurant is large and can accommodate 100 people. The walls are painted in a cream color with maroon colored trim, and there are a few flat screen TVs overhead and each doorway going into each dining area is arch shaped with white tiles. The bathroom looked newly renovated and decorated with more of an upscale style with pretty sand colored tiles on the walls and floors of a different style than in the main dining areas.
My server was very friendly and knew the menu well; I decided on the Carnivore Omelet for $7.99 with a pot of hot black tea for only $.99. The omelet is made with two eggs and comes with your choice of two slices of toast, a cinnamon roll or a pancake; I chose the rye toast and I also had a choice of hash browns or American potatoes, I chose American. I noticed while I waited for my order my server, when she was not waiting on customers, was constantly cleaning and wiping down things. My omelet was served to me nice and hot and was filled with crumbled sausage, diced ham and bacon with a little melted cheese on top, my toast was two large pieces of marbled rye lightly buttered with two packets of jelly and on the side was a nice amount of lightly browned American potatoes. Not only did it all look delicious, everything tasted delicious. My potatoes had that wonderful flavor you can only get on a well seasoned grill. My server asked me if I would like fresh lemon slices with my tea, which I appreciate being asked because I love lemon with my teas and not everyone offers that. My hot water was brought out in a small thermos tea pot which kept my water nice and hot and my mug and tea was served on a plate with two fresh lemon slices and two packs of honey. Sister's Cafe serves there full menu all day long.
