Bar Review of Sideline Sports Bar in Green Bay, WI

I had a hot minute the other day and a friend of mine wanted to check out a certain Packer bar. She and her entourage are going out for the game this weekend and she wanted to see if this bar would pass her test. What exactly is her test, I have no clue, but I do know that Sideline Sports Bar passed it with flying colors. Sideline Sports Bar is located in the Ashwaubenon area just across the street from some stadium that I believe is named, Lambeau Field. Maybe you’ve heard of it? No? Perhaps you’ve heard of the Green Bay Packers? I think that might ring a bell… or seven.

I didn’t really know what to expect when we walked into Sidelines, but I most definitely was not thinking that the place would be so large. I mean, it’s HUGE. I supposed you would have to be a large building to house all the crazy madness that occurs on most Sundays during the NFL season, but still, this place can pack people in. First off, they have 2 separate bars in two separate huge rooms, which could also be used as a private party space. They also have an outdoor patio, which I would normally say in the month of January is unusable, but with this weather lately, I’m not sure I can say such a statement. I should note that Sidelines shows their true green and gold spirit as a sports bar close to the Packer Stadium; it’s decked out in all sorts of Packer pictures and other memorabilia. Besides all the Go Pack Go stuff they also have everything else a great sports bar should have: giant flat screen TV’s! Furthermore, there are two pool tables, dart boards, old school arcade/gambling games and a shuffle board to keep you happy. Make sure you check out the cool aquarium in the back corner, you don’t see that much around here, and its badass.

The bartender was super friendly and came up to us right away. My friend and I tapped the Rockies with Coors Light bottles. We happened to be there during Happy Hour so they were 2 bucks each. C-h-e-a-p. The Happy Hour specials are Monday – Thursday from 11AM till 7PM and Friday till 6PM. During that time you can get $2 domestic bottles or taps, $4 pitchers of Bud Light or, OR $3 16oz. rail mixers. What the what? I wish I saw that sign before I ordered my beer. An ultra-tall Vodka Soda water (for $3) would have been delightful! Guess I’ll have to stop by again soon. Besides having Happy Hour Specials, Sidelines does nightly specials as well. Give them a call to get the scoop. Sidelines carries on draught Shock Top, Miller lite, Coors Light, Bud, Bud Light, Fat Tire, Snow Day and Spotted Cow. In bottles they carry all the usual Bud, Coors and Miller products along with a few fan favorites. They do have wine, which I only saw in the form of airplane bottles, but there is a full bar, full of random liquors and spirits just waiting to be mixed with some sort of bubbly favorite.
