Restaurant Review of Happy Joe's in Green Bay, WI

I went to dine at Happy Joe’s for dinner. It is located on the east side of Green Bay. Happy Joe’s is a very casual restaurant geared towards the family. As you walk in, the atmosphere is bright and filled with happy sounds of boisterous children having a great time. In the front of the restaurant and to the left is a room filled with arcade games and a couple of rides, like, a colorful moving pony carousel. To the right are many different toys in clear cases that the kids redeem with tickets from the various games. They also have two viewing platforms where the children can pick out their favorite ice cream or watch the pizzas being made. Happy Joe’s an immaculate and very large restaurant with many tables and booths. In the very back is a more private room if you would like more privacy for birthday parties.
There are menus on all the tables and booths and when you are ready to order you go up to the counter to place and pay for your meal. They then pour your beverages for you, put them on a tray with a number and then they will bring out your food and anything else that you might need. I ordered the large 15 inch combo pizza for $22. As I was waiting for my pizza I enjoyed looking at all the black and white framed photos on the walls of all the different families in the past who had celebrated their birthdays there. The server then brought my pizza with an extra plate and silverware. The pizza was hot and looked delicious. I ordered the thin crust and it consisted of many toppings: black and green olives, Canadian bacon, extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage, beef salami, canned mushrooms, green peppers and onions. The pizza had a good amount of ingredients on it with lots of good quality cheese. The crust tasted very good with more of a bread flavor and not a bland cardboard flavor that sometimes I have come across. In all, the pizza tasted delicious. I was also impressed with the happy attitude and helpfulness of the staff at Happy Joe’s.
