What's a girl to do when it's April and the sun don't wanna shine? Drink some Old Fashions! What's a girl to do when she wants a Happy Hour special price for said Old Fashions? Go to Gippers! That about sums it up; my BF and I headed out into a wintery blizzard mess for some ice cold refreshments that happen to have liquor in them. Spirited beverages, if you will.

Gipper's Sports Bar & Grill is located off University in the Green Bay east part of town. Gipper's is open daily at 11AM, and always ready to serve you up your fave cocktail. Gipper's is huge. At least I thought so. You walk in the doors and the bar is right there, adorned with plenty of seats and a hi top table or two against the front wall. There are big screen TVs all over so there is no way you'll miss the next Packers/Brewers/Badgers/Bucks/Any-other-Sport-team- not-mentioned-here game. Towards the back, Gipper's opens up to the restaurant side. And, AND there is free popcorn that you may help yourself to. Yummy. I ordered a Whiskey Old Fashion Press and my copy cat friend ordered the same. Because we ordered these gross, but at the same time o' so delicious, drinks between the hours of 3PM and 6PM we get 2 for 1. Awesome. These Old Fashions will normally run you 4 bucks a pop. You can also get 2 for 1 rail mixers and $.50 off tap and bottled beer. This is daily too, so you now have no excuse to miss out. Gipper's has a fully stocked liquor bar along with some tap flowing beer including but not limited to Stella, Fat Tire, Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller Lite and Spotted Cow. There are also plenty more of the bottled variety in the Miller, Coors and Bud products.

My BF and I were having good gossip time, but if that's not for you then you could always play some trivia. That's right; Gipper's offers Buzz Time Trivia to keep your mind sharp. And let's just say you're way more popular than me and have like 20 friends who all want to go out, then check out the party room, you can rent it out by reservation. I think the party room holds up to 50 people. Invite me and 48 of your closest friends and I'll see ya there!
