It's beginning to look a like Christm - er Packers season. And what better way to kick off the upcoming season than celebrating at a Packer Bar? A Packer bar named after a Packer player! Beat that one.
Fuzzy's #63 Bar and Grill is located in the Green Bay West area. And if you were ever unsure about what is a true Packer fan bar, this place will answer your question. When you first walk in it looks like a regular old bar that is very reminiscent of the 70's with carpeting and darkness. But then when you walk towards the back of the place there is this room with a pool table, tables and chairs. Oh yeah and some Packer memorabilia. A lot of memorabilia. There are tons and tons of pictures of all the players; old school and newer school, license plates with Packer messages on them, trophies, helmets and other little things that any Packer fan should come out to see. Even if you're not a big fan, it's still neat to scope out.
Fuzzy's doesn't just come with football pretties for your eyes to spy, there are also beers and liquors to help ease your brain wrap around the idea of how much Packer fan-ness there really is in this town.
In bottles they carry Guinness, Blue Moon, Rolling Rock, Lienies Creamy Dark, Spotted Cow and a few others. They also have cans which are more of your Bud and Miller Lite Products. One can brand that this place carries made me nostalgic for the Cubs; Old Style! I thought that was very awesomely random. I haven't seen Old Style cans anywhere since I left Chicago. It's bad beer, but it was still known as Cubby beer. Plus the spirited beverages here are on the cheap side with added drink specials. I would call ahead on game days to see what they have going on for game time specials. And on home game days there will be some sort of entertainment. Not that the Packer game itself isn't entertaining...
