Bar Review of Brewbaker's in Green Bay, WI

A girlfriend and I were kinda in a party mood. You know, the kind where "the party don't start til I walk in," kind. The problem was it was a Tuesday night and it was already on the late side. We thought downtown would be the best place to get our groove on. We noticed a few joints that had already closed for the evening and were getting discouraged, and that's when we saw Brewbakers Pub in all its still-open-and-ready-to-beer-you glory. Brewbakers stays open till the true bar close time of 2AM on weekdays. Nice huh? Yeah, I thought so too.
As I said before it was a quiet Tuesday night so it was quiet inside Brewbakers, which was perfect for us seeing how we just wanted to gossip, drink, and listen to music. When you walk in, it's like a long rectangle. There are tables to your immediate left, pool tables on your right and the bar is in the middle on the left side. We grabbed two seats at the bar and ordered a Coors Light, Bacardi and Seltzer, and two shots.
All that flammable liquid cost us $12.50. I was worried after a while that we should go, so the bartender could close up, as we were his last die hard customers, but he assured us that he never closes early and that we weren't being a pain. He was very cool and even let us play DJ for a bit, no matter how ridiculous the song was that we wanted to hear. And so now I think that Brewbakers has the best music ever!
On tap Brewbakers offers Guinness, Miller Lite 64, Stella, Miller Lite, Bud Light, Blue Moon, Shiner Bock, Coors Light and Leinie's Honey Weiss. In bottles they have more of the same plus more than a few others: Odouls, New Castle, Amstel Light, Becks, Corona, Spotted Cow, Sam Adams and I'm sure I'm missing some. Brewbakers also has those little tapper beers that I think are so cute. They run a buck for domestics. If beer isn't what you're into, then have no fear, they have wine in little airplane bottles and a fully stocked liquor selection for you to get your drink on.
There is a second story to this Pub. At first I just thought it was a small upstairs loft but I was wrong, you could easily throw a party up there with a ton of your closest drinking buddies. As for their Happy Hour specials, they run Tuesday - Friday 4PM to 8PM and they include $2 domestic bottles, and a buck of rail mixers and tap beer.
Our night at Brew bakers Pub was so much fun. We will for sure be back. I mean with cheap prices, crazy good music, an awesome bartender and the place doesn't close early, what's not to like?
