1951 West Restaurant Review in Green Bay, WI

1951 West restaurant was my destination for lunch. It is located on the West side of Green Bay. The restaurant and bar lounge has a nice contemporary upscale décor. The main color theme throughout is black and tan with warm browns mixed in. As you enter, there is a short hallway and directly in front is a massive, beautiful, fresh floral arrangement on a table with the hostess stand behind it. To the right is their nice large cozy bar lounge area and to the left is a large dining area with many booths and tables. The hostess was friendly and brought me to the partial upper...Read the Rest of 1951 West Restaurant Review

END Zone Bar Review a'Bravo Bar Review

It was a beautiful day on Monday. And to celebrate the beautiful day, I needed some beautiful cocktails on a beautiful patio. A girlfriend and I bounced over to the Bellevue area to hit up a'Bravo, which is also beautiful. A'Bravo is this upscale bistro and wine bar dichotomy that seems to be perfect for any occasion. Whether you're in the mood for a Sunday brunch hotspot, a delicious dinner with drinks or some much needed outdoor lounging patio time, a'Bravo is ready. We arrived by 7PM and there were a few tables inside eating dinner and a crowd in the bar area. When you first enter a'Bravo you walk in facing the counter...Read the Rest of a'Bravo's Bar Review in Green Bay, WI

For Visitors and Tourists in the Green Bay Area

Green Bay is best known for their professional football team, “The Green Bay Packers.” The Packer Hall of Fame and the recently remodeled football stadium with its attached atrium are both great tourist attractions. There are many restaurants in Lambeau Field's atrium such as Green Bay's famous chili served at Chili Johns restaurants. Many of Green Bay's restaurants are located near the Lambeau Field stadium; for example there is the legendary Brett Favre's Restaurant and Steakhouse and Green Bay's original Kroll's restaurants which are famous for their buttery burgers and yummy chili - a must do if it your first visit to the area.

Other attractions are the Bay Beach Amusement Park, which still has unbelievable bargain prices and classic rides. You can also race around the go cart course and try your hand at mini-golf located right across the street from Bay Beach, or stop by the nearby Wildlife Sanctuary to feed the ducks, and don't miss out on some of the local restaurants nearby. The city also has many beautiful parks and a beautiful botanical garden which is continuously growing. Even though Green Bay is not a huge metropolitan city, it does offer a large variety of unique entrepreneur restaurants throughout the city, besides the usual restaurant food chains.

East De Pere and West De Pere make up a charming little city on the eastern border of Green Bay. It is a historic city located on the Fox River with many quaint restaurants. Also situated on the river is St. Norbert, a private college with a beautiful campus. St. Norbert has their own theatre and the school's production companies put on many great plays and musicals throughout the year. The city has many graceful old homes, clothing boutiques, and a one hundred year old family owned chocolate store which is a local staple.

Another option for theater, concerts, or shows with big names as well as local production companies is the gorgeous Weidner Center located on the University of Green Bay's campus near the Bay, the Resch Center near Lambeau Field, and the beautifully refurbished Meyer Theater in downtown Green Bay which is conveniently located in the middle of Green Bay's night life and some of Green Bay's finest restaurants.
